Intermediate Mechanical Engineer – Pump Stations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to provide design support for pump stations and conveyance systems within water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions for municipal and industrial treatment facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop pump station layouts and complete mechanical designs.
• Create and review P&IDs for water and wastewater systems.
• Support system‑curve development, equipment selection, and overall system layout.
• Prepare and review piping arrangements and valve configurations.
• Produce and update drawings, 3‑D models, and technical specifications.
• Assist in proposal preparation and cost‑estimate development.
• Coordinate closely with civil and structural engineering teams.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong background in pump‑station design and water/wastewater systems.
• Proven expertise in equipment selection and piping design.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments.
• Treatment‑plant experience is considered an asset.
