IT Security Consultant – L3 (SOC Incident Response)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Security Consultant to lead Level‑3 incident response within our Security Operations Center. Based in Bogotá with a hybrid work model, you will protect a global organization against advanced cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigation and resolution of high‑priority security incidents (L3).
• Perform advanced threat hunting, digital forensics, and malware analysis.
• Analyze and correlate events using SIEM, EDR, IDS, firewalls, proxies and antivirus solutions.
• Drive incident response across the full lifecycle, from triage to remediation.
• Collaborate with Security and IT teams to improve the overall security posture.
• Develop and refine SOC procedures and incident‑response processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SOC, incident response, threat hunting or related cybersecurity operations.
• Proven ability to lead critical incidents and work independently.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Upper‑intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM, EDR and IDS platforms.
• Knowledge of firewalls, proxy servers and antivirus solutions.
• Digital forensics, memory analysis and malware investigation.
• Host and network forensics, threat hunting and incident handling.
