Junior Benefits Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Benefits Specialist to join our team in Bogotá and Barranquilla. The role supports our client portfolio by handling employee benefits data, preparing presentations, and coordinating with insurance carriers. This is an on‑site, full‑time position with a focus on delivering accurate and timely benefits solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect census, claims, and plan information from existing clients.
• Prepare detailed client presentations using Excel and other reporting tools.
• Organise and submit benefit requests to insurance carriers.
• Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including tracking carrier questions, coordinating responses, and meeting deadlines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carrier sales representatives.
• Stay up‑to‑date on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and related industry regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in employee benefits or a related field (US based preferred).
• University or technical degree.
• English proficiency at C1 level.
