Mobile Flutter Developer

About the role

A mobile engineering team is needed to deliver high-quality mobile apps for clients within a complex, multi-platform stack spanning a headless Shopify architecture, microservices, Sanity CMS and e-commerce experiences. The role works closely with product and engineering teams to unblock implementation and drive mobile product quality at pace.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and document mobile features daily with Flutter and Dart, and manage an active backlog focused on speed, performance and user experience.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive UI components and own the frontend scope from design through to QA sign-off.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL and microservices with backend teams, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient error handling.
• Build and maintain e-commerce flows using Shopify's Storefront API, covering product catalogs, carts, checkouts and custom sessionization logic.
• Implement dynamic content experiences powered by Sanity CMS so content updates appear instantly on the app.
• Maintain scalable architecture and state management (e.g. BLoC, Riverpod).
• Profile and optimize performance, frame rendering and memory usage on iOS and Android.
• Work with web teams to ensure feature parity across platforms and manage App Store releases, including CI/CD pipelines, provisioning profiles and versioning.
• Take part in weekly refinement meetings to assess epics and tickets and apply technical labels.

Required profile

• C1 English level.
• 4-5+ years of mobile development in a direct-to-consumer or e-commerce environment, with at least 2+ years of professional Flutter/Dart experience.
• Solid experience building native mobile e-commerce apps and integrating with Shopify's Storefront API.
• Ability to work with backend and web teams, unblock issues and scope tickets clearly in Jira.
• Strong documentation habits with centralized, cross-functional engineering documentation.
