Pastry Chef – Production

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Pastry Chef to join our high‑volume production team in Bogota. You will work in a multicultural environment, contributing to the quality and consistency of our bakery and confectionery products for airline and airport catering.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare pastry products in large‑scale production, following recipes, weight specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure the taste, texture, presentation and shelf‑life of all items meet company standards.
• Strictly adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, hygiene rules, food handling and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, equipment and utensils.
• Store raw materials and finished goods correctly, applying FIFO (PEPS) rotation.
• Meet production targets and timelines while minimizing waste.
• Work organized and efficiently, optimizing raw material usage.
• Participate in shift rotations and adapt to varying production schedules.
• Report any quality, equipment or material issues promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pastry production, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
• Ability to work in shifts and handle a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a focus on discipline and continuous improvement.
