Principal Software Developer - AI Data Architect

About the role

Caseware is looking for a Principal Software Developer to lead the design and delivery of an AI‑Ready Data Platform. This senior, hands‑on architect will shape enterprise data standards, mentor engineers, and ensure the platform supports AI workflows, analytics, and secure customer interoperability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical strategy for a scalable AI‑Ready data platform.
• Create reference architectures, modeling standards, and guardrails for lakehouse and medallion designs.
• Lead key platform initiatives such as data layer re‑architecture, schema modernization, and data model evolution.
• Mentor development teams, promote best practices in data engineering, and ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Collaborate with R&D, security, and product groups to implement data contracts, ingestion standards, and governance policies.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience delivering data solutions for AI workflows.
• Hands‑on expertise with modern LLM tooling and AI platform integration patterns.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
• Experience shaping enterprise data architecture across multiple product teams.
