QA Test Engineer – Web Platform

About the role

StoneX is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to ensure high‑quality delivery of its next‑generation global web platform. You will work within a distributed Scrum team to shape a modern, composable architecture built on headless CMS technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Own quality across the composable CMS ecosystem (Kontent.ai + Uniform) and drive testing strategy in an Agile environment.
• Collaborate daily with product, design, marketing and engineering teams to translate requirements into testable solutions and ensure releases meet performance and scalability standards.
• Champion test automation, identify opportunities to embed quality early in the development lifecycle, and support migration from legacy systems to a headless architecture.
• Validate cross‑browser, cross‑device performance, including Core Web Vitals, and address security‑related testing such as authentication and API protection.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on web quality engineering experience with complex, client‑facing sites.
• Proven ability to lead manual testing efforts while contributing to test strategy and automation initiatives.
• Strong ownership, independent initiative and experience working in fast‑paced, ambiguous migration projects.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team‑first mindset.

Required skills

• Experience with headless/composable CMS platforms (e.g., Kontent.ai, Uniform, Sitecore, Drupal).
• Manual testing, test design, and test automation fundamentals.
• Agile/Scrum methodology and sprint planning participation.
• Cross‑browser and cross‑device testing, performance testing (Core Web Vitals).
• Security‑aware testing (authentication, authorization, API security).
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted testing tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) is a plus.
