Remote Bilingual Collections Agent – Colombia

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual (English‑fluent) Collections Agent to join our remote team in Colombia. The role focuses on recovering overdue payments, handling customer inquiries, and supporting the order‑to‑cash process for a portfolio of international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls from an assigned queue to achieve daily call targets and meet collection goals.
• Inform customers about outstanding receivables, negotiate payment arrangements, and resolve disputes.
• Document interactions, provide invoices or supporting documents, and update account information in client‑specific systems.
• Maintain high quality standards by adhering to internal audit criteria and call‑quality reviews.
• Take ownership of assigned accounts, ensuring timely follow‑up and accurate electronic filing of all communications.

Required profile

• Fluent spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a professional, courteous tone.
• Ability to work independently from a remote location in Colombia, following a schedule aligned with US Central Standard Time (8 AM‑5 PM CST, Monday‑Friday).
• Verified disability status is welcomed but not mandatory.

• Operating system: Windows 11, macOS Sonoma, or Linux Mint.
