SAP Security Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Security Consultant to design, implement and maintain SAP Identity Access Governance (IAG) and Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS) solutions for a remote client. The role focuses on hybrid security architectures, cloud‑based segregation‑of‑duties (SoD) rule sets and integration with SAP S/4HANA, BTP and SAC.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and deploy SAP IAG in cloud and hybrid environments, including Access Risk Analysis, Access Request Management and Business Role Management.
• Set up SAP IAS/IPS for authentication, single sign‑on and user provisioning to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, BTP and other SAP cloud solutions.
• Manage the full user lifecycle (joiner‑mover‑leaver), perform SoD analysis and remediate identified risks.
• Design and maintain a hybrid security strategy spanning on‑premise and cloud systems.
• Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of SAP security experience with a focus on IAG, IAS and IPS projects.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Activate methodology, agile development and workshop facilitation.
• Proven ability to deliver at least one full‑life‑cycle implementation and one support project.
• Basic SAP Basis knowledge to provide ad‑hoc support.
