Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Endava is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable digital platforms for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain DevOps pipelines and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve and create CI/CD processes.
• Manage and optimise cloud environments in AWS and Azure.
• Use Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑code automation.
• Orchestrate containerised applications with Kubernetes.
• Administer repositories and CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Ensure system scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Provide recommendations to improve stability and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps or cloud engineering.
• Strong experience building and managing AWS infrastructure; Azure experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Terraform for provisioning.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Excellent scripting skills in Bash, Python, or comparable languages.
• Proven problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience leading teams and participating in discovery sessions with stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications (AWS, Azure, DevOps) are desirable.
