Senior Financial Analyst – Financial Modeling Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly technical, hands‑on finance professional to join our team as a Financial Modeling Specialist. The role is remote and requires some overlap with U.S. Pacific business hours. You will own end‑to‑end financial model development for sophisticated audiences such as investment banks, private equity firms, and corporate finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise full‑integrated financial models (income‑statement, balance‑sheet, cash‑flow) for corporate finance, private‑equity/LBO, investment banking, valuation and risk analysis.
• Build and validate advanced modelling components including revenue drivers, scenario and sensitivity analysis, capital‑structure analysis and cost‑of‑capital calculations.
• Review, stress‑test and improve existing models created by internal teams or external experts.
• Design realistic financial problem sets for the platform, ensuring technical depth, accuracy and pedagogical value.
• Collaborate with finance experts and developers to ensure model integrity, scalability and proper documentation.
• Provide ongoing operational support, quality‑assurance, debugging and continuous optimisation of financial content.

Required profile

• 2–8+ years of hands‑on experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, risk, debt capital markets, FP&A, transaction services, valuation or related fields.
• Strong discipline in model structure, controls, checks and documentation.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ability to work independently and manage projects from start to finish.
• Excellent time‑management skills in a remote, fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (complex formulas, dynamic multi‑tab models, linked financial models).
• Financial modeling – full three‑statement models, WACC calculations, DCF, comparable analysis, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Valuation techniques and corporate finance fundamentals.
• Accounting principles and financial statement flow across IS, BS and CF.
