Senior Manager, Privacy & Legal Counsel

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Privacy & Legal Counsel to lead and expand Telesign’s global privacy and data‑protection program. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will work closely with product, engineering, security, compliance and go‑to‑market teams to embed privacy into every aspect of our business.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the global privacy strategy, ensuring compliance with GDPR, CCPA and other data‑protection regulations.
• Provide legal advice on complex cross‑border data transfers, privacy impact assessments and incident response.
• Drive Privacy‑by‑Design and Privacy‑by‑Default principles throughout product development cycles.
• Develop and maintain privacy governance frameworks, policies, and training programs.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align privacy considerations with business objectives and product roadmaps.

Required profile

• Law degree with a focus on privacy, data protection or technology law.
• Minimum 7‑10 years of experience advising on international privacy regulations, preferably in a technology or telecom environment.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams and senior executives.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a pragmatic, solution‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, ePrivacy and other global privacy frameworks.
• Experience conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and managing data‑subject request processes.
• Familiarity with privacy‑by‑design methodologies and governance structures.
