Senior Security Automation Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Join a global tech leader as a Senior Security Automation Engineer, working 100% remotely to embed security controls and threat modeling across the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated security testing and monitoring workflows.
• Perform threat modeling and security architecture assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
• Oversee vulnerability management and collaborate with engineering teams for a secure SDLC.
• Implement platform security measures, including identity management and encryption standards.
• Develop automated systems to detect, triage, and respond to security incidents and compliance anomalies in real time.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering, automation, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting.
• Proven expertise in threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure SDLC.
• Solid understanding of cloud and container security, IAM, and encryption.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
