Senior TypeScript/Node Developer

About the role

This role sits within a sprint-based engineering team working closely with a pod lead and a specialist AI engineer. It focuses on integrating third-party property management systems and external data sources, building reliable data pipelines and external-facing APIs, and collaborating on automation and intelligent data workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrations with third-party property management systems and external data sources
• Implement data ingestion, transformation and delivery pipelines that move external data reliably into the platform
• Develop and maintain external-facing APIs covering authentication, versioning, error handling and operational reliability
• Write clean, well-tested TypeScript across backend services and integration layers
• Debug integration issues end-to-end, from external source through transformation to delivery
• Build integrations that catch and handle data quality issues at the source
• Add observability through logging, monitoring and alerting
• Write tests that give the team confidence to ship and refactor
• Work with the pod lead and colleagues, communicate progress and blockers, and document integration patterns and data contracts

Required profile

• 3+ years of software engineering experience in production environments
• Strong TypeScript; it is the primary language of the team
• Experience building or consuming third-party APIs in production, including rate limiting, pagination, error handling and retry logic
• Experience building data pipelines or transformation layers
• Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines

Required skills

• Solid MySQL fundamentals
• Familiarity with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3)
• Nice to have: property management platforms or real estate data, agentic AI frameworks or LLM-based tooling, event-driven architectures, and a background in proptech, fintech or data-intensive industries
