Staff Accountant

About the role
ABA Tech is expanding its finance team in Medellín and seeks a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant. The role is hybrid and full‑time, focusing on reconciliations, accounts payable, and month‑end close activities.
Key responsibilities
- Perform bank, accounts payable, prepaid, and fixed‑asset reconciliations.
- Prepare journal entries and support the month‑end close process.
- Analyze and resolve unmatched transactions.
- Reconcile AP aging, identify discrepancies and follow‑up.
- Work with NetSuite and Coupa to ensure accurate financial data.
- Track and manage accruals and prepaid expenses.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in general ledger, accounts payable or reconciliations.
- Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
- Knowledge of GAAP and month‑end close procedures.
Required skills
- NetSuite (required).
- Coupa (preferred).
- Advanced Excel for data analysis.
