About the role

ABA Tech is expanding its finance team in Medellín and seeks a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant. The role is hybrid and full‑time, focusing on reconciliations, accounts payable, and month‑end close activities.

Key responsibilities

Perform bank, accounts payable, prepaid, and fixed‑asset reconciliations.
Prepare journal entries and support the month‑end close process.
Analyze and resolve unmatched transactions.
Reconcile AP aging, identify discrepancies and follow‑up.
Work with NetSuite and Coupa to ensure accurate financial data.
Track and manage accruals and prepaid expenses.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in general ledger, accounts payable or reconciliations.
Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
Knowledge of GAAP and month‑end close procedures.

Required skills

NetSuite (required).
Coupa (preferred).
Advanced Excel for data analysis.
