About the role
Aprio Colombia is seeking a Manager, Tax Administration to lead and develop its Tax Administration team. This senior position will act as a bridge between administrative professionals, tax partners, and Tax Operations leadership, ensuring operational excellence and supporting firm growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, support and coach the tax administrator team across multiple locations.
- Standardize administrative operations to maintain consistency throughout the Tax practice.
- Provide day‑to‑day guidance on workflow, deadlines, prioritisation and partner expectations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues, monitoring capacity and workload trends.
- Onboard new administrative hires in partnership with HR and local leadership.
- Design and deliver training sessions, refreshers and performance review documentation.
- Integrate administrators from newly merged offices, handling system onboarding and data transition.
- Travel to firm offices as needed to support onboarding, training and operational alignment.
- Identify inefficiencies, document best practices and drive process improvements.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in tax administration or professional‑services operations.
- Strong understanding of tax workflows, deadlines and administrative support models.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and support teams across multiple locations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for broad audiences.
- Comfortable navigating change, growth and complex organisational structures.
