Technical Sales Manager – Colombia (Telematics & IoT)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to lead the expansion of our telematics and IoT solutions across Colombia. The role is fully remote, with occasional field visits and business trips throughout the country.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and grow the client base for telematics and IoT products in Colombia.
• Deliver technical presentations, installations, and commissioning of equipment.
• Identify and onboard new system integrators.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers, handling support, issue resolution, and payment follow‑up.
• Promote the Escort brand at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Upper‑intermediate English (B2) – all communication with the head office is in English.
• Currently residing in Colombia.
• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in telematics, transportation, IT, IoT, GPS monitoring or automotive sectors.
• Hands‑on experience with technically complex equipment and ability to perform installations after training.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, autonomous and results‑oriented.
• Technical college or university degree.
• Willingness to travel up to 40 % of working time across Colombia.
