Account Manager – Remote (Colombia)

About the role

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with The Intern Group’s global company partners and coordinating internship placements for thousands of participants each year. Working remotely from Medellín, you will play a key role in expanding the partner network and ensuring high‑quality matches between companies and interns.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with partner companies across global destinations.
• Expand the network of partner companies through proactive account‑management initiatives.
• Manage and coordinate the placement process between partners and internship candidates to achieve optimal matches.
• Conduct ongoing quality‑assurance checks and provide support to both partner organisations and participants.
• Mentor and guide participants throughout the placement and matching process.
• Resolve ad‑hoc issues or complaints with host organisations and interns before and during the internship.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the global team on cross‑functional projects and initiatives.
• Deliver against placement and account‑management targets, contributing to year‑over‑year business growth.

Required profile

• Previous B2B sales or partnership experience.
