Account Manager – Retail & CPG

About the role

You will act as an extension of each brand’s retail team, using our AI‑driven platform to help CPG brands improve planogram compliance and merchandising execution. The role focuses on retaining and growing a portfolio of retail customers while ensuring they receive measurable value each month.

Key responsibilities

• Retain at least 90% of customers, expand Annual Contract Value, and secure renewals with improved terms.
• Deliver monthly value through category analyses, merchandising coordination, or visibility reports.
• Listen to customer KPIs, identify needs, and guide them on platform usage.
• Proactively spot risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to improve outcomes.
• Onboard new customers within one week, ensuring accurate shelf grading and user adoption.
• Identify and authentically expand scope within existing accounts (new retailers, stores, services).
• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, Product, and Tech to feed feedback into product improvements.
• Document wins for case studies and marketing materials with customer permission.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in account management, customer success, retail, merchandising, or CPG‑related roles.
• Strong ownership mindset focused on customer success.
• Ability to manage multiple clients in a fast‑moving environment.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, including formulas, pivots, and large‑dataset analysis.
