Account Manager - US Clients (Retention & Growth)

About the role

WorldTeams connects 240+ U.S. architecture firms with Latin American talent and is growing fast. It is looking for an Account Manager who owns a portfolio of U.S. clients and drives retention and growth. This is not a passive support role: the role expects energy, drive and a hunter's mindset, with the goal of closing deals.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of U.S. clients and act as their main point of contact.
• Retain: build long-term relationships based on trust, anticipate problems and resolve escalations quickly.
• Grow: identify upsell and expansion opportunities, build tailored proposals, negotiate and close.
• Lead regular client meetings to understand goals, challenges and pipeline.
• Keep the sales pipeline up to date and partner with internal teams to deliver on commitments.
• Guide and supervise a Sales Assistant.

Required profile

• Fluent, confident English (C1+).
• 1+ year of experience in account management, sales or business development (B2B), ideally with U.S. clients.
• Track record of hitting revenue targets; comfortable negotiating contracts and handling tough conversations.
• Bonus: experience in staffing, outsourcing, nearshoring or the AEC (architecture/construction) industry.
