Accountant & Bookkeeper – Remote (Colombia)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Accountant & Bookkeeper to own the full set of financial records for a fast‑growing U.S. operation. The role is fully remote and requires the candidate to be based in Colombia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support and daily reconciliations with high accuracy.
• Maintain clean, up‑to‑date records in QuickBooks Online and, when needed, in NetSuite.
• Monitor cash inflows and outflows, perform detailed cash‑flow analysis and deliver proactive liquidity reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit‑card statements and spend‑management platforms such as Ramp.
• Prepare month‑end closing, quarterly reports and year‑end financial statements.
• Assist in creating financial projections and track department‑wise budgets.
• Ensure all expenses are correctly categorized and supported by proper documentation in line with company policy.

Required profile

• Based in Colombia.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably supporting U.S. or international companies.
• Advanced English for meetings with U.S. leadership.
• CPA‑equivalent qualification or a degree in Accounting/Finance is a plus.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency with QuickBooks Online (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of cash vs. accrual accounting, GAAP principles and cash‑flow projections.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills – pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling.
• Experience with NetSuite (highly valued).
