About the role
The Accountant I will support the Venture Global project accounting team with financial reconciliation, data processing and reporting. This position works closely with project finance to ensure accurate overhead and working‑capital analysis. The role is based in the Bogota office and operates on‑site full‑time.
Key responsibilities
- Identify effective overhead and working‑capital reporting, use leading indicators to spot opportunities or risks, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive data.
- Leverage AI and common finance platforms such as Hyperion and Oracle (GBS, EPM) to improve business processes, act as a finance system super‑user, and serve as the first point of contact for system‑related issues.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, including post‑qualification work, preferably in public practice or a publicly traded company.
- Strong analytical abilities with advanced Excel reporting skills and a solid understanding of GAAP.
