Accounting Manager

About the role

DiDi Global Inc. is seeking a proactive Accounting Manager to lead day‑to‑day accounting activities for its Latin America entities, primarily in Colombia. You will ensure compliance with local authorities, support audits, and drive improvements in business processes and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and post monthly and annual closing journal entries for legal entities in LATAM.
• Validate the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and trial balance reports.
• Execute daily finance and accounting tasks in line with local policies and corporate regulations.
• Assist business development initiatives and ensure proper application of accounting/finance policies.
• Perform balance‑sheet account reconciliations and support new product launches.
• Maintain compliance with local reporting requirements and coordinate local audits.
• Collaborate with accounting teams in Mexico and China on cross‑border matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA qualification with signing authority for local financial statements.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Experience with internal controls and audit processes.
• Preparation of financial statements and trial balances.
• Balance‑sheet reconciliation.
• Understanding of local regulatory reporting (e.g., Superintendencia de Sociedades).
