Accounting Manager – Remote (LATAM)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing accounting and advisory firm serving U.S. small and mid‑size businesses. We seek an experienced Accounting Manager who can remotely manage multiple U.S. GAAP clients in construction, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, landscaping and other field‑service sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Own month‑end close processes for several client accounts, preparing and reviewing financial statements and workpapers.
• Manage AP, AR, and general‑ledger activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance.
• Process payroll, handle employee onboarding, and submit state sales‑tax filings.
• Build custom reports and dashboards, analyze performance, and support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow planning.
• Document accounting workflows, identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to standardize procedures.
• Participate in daily check‑ins with leadership, prioritize tasks independently and communicate progress.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience, with a proven record of managing multiple U.S. clients.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and experience in service‑based industries such as construction, HVAC, plumbing, roofing or landscaping.
• Long‑term employment history (preferably 3+ years with prior employers).
• Excellent spoken and written English, able to discuss accounting concepts with U.S. business owners.
