Accounting Senior Analyst – LATAM/NAM General Ledger

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an experienced Accounting Senior Analyst to support end‑to‑end General Ledger services for LATAM and NAM regions. The role will coordinate financial closing activities, provide accounting analysis, and ensure accurate reporting across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate period‑end, month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes for LATAM/NAM.
• Prepare and review financial statements, balance‑sheet and income‑statement accounts.
• Perform revenue accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations in compliance with GAAP, SOX and internal audit requirements.
• Support black‑line reconciliation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Assist with financial reporting, data summarisation and analysis for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; Master’s or MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience as an accountant handling month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance and internal audit standards.
• Ability to work across multiple regions and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (macros, scripts, complex formulas).
• SAP ERP experience.
• Familiarity with BlackLine or similar reconciliation tools.
