AI-Assisted Software Engineer, Web Applications

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to build and scale internal web applications using a Next.js front‑end and a Django back‑end. The role emphasizes clean, maintainable code and the proactive use of AI coding assistants and Model Context Protocols to accelerate development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop fast, responsive user interfaces with React and Next.js.
• Architect and implement secure, scalable APIs and business logic using Python and Django.
• Design modular systems that integrate internal tools, databases, and third‑party platforms.
• Leverage AI coding assistants and build or integrate Model Context Protocols to enhance AI agent capabilities.
• Champion clean‑code principles, write comprehensive automated tests, and participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Python and the Django framework.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Proven experience designing robust APIs and integrating third‑party services.
• Commitment to automated testing, clean architecture, and modern QA practices.
• Familiarity with cloud basics, containerisation (Docker), and version control (Git).
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
