AI Senior Support Engineer

About the role

Altoros is seeking a Senior Support Engineer to support an analytics platform for a client. The role is full‑stack and data‑stack focused, operating on a part‑time basis aligned with Chicago time (CT) and delivering AI‑augmented solutions using Claude Code.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and extend the platform shell, including authentication, SSO integration, and front‑end navigation components built with React/TypeScript.
• Build and operate data ingestion pipelines, orchestration workflows in Dagster, and transformation logic using dbt and SQL on BigQuery (GCP).
• Maintain the semantic layer in Cube, define metrics, and customize embedded analytics components via the Embeddable SDK.
• Document platform architecture and processes in Confluence, including DBML/database diagrams, and ensure knowledge hand‑over.
• Meet outcome‑based targets from month two, such as P1 issue resolution within one business day and defect reduction.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with AI‑first development using Claude Code or similar tools, and willingness to complete Anthropic certification.
• Strong full‑stack development background with modern front‑end frameworks, authentication/SSO, and multi‑tenant architecture.
• Proven ability to work independently and engage directly with client stakeholders.
