AI Solution Architect (Remote, Colombia)

About the role

Keyrus, an international consulting group of 2,800 consultants across 28 countries focused on AI, is hiring an AI Solution Architect. The role is 100% remote, based in Colombia, on an indefinite contract. The architect designs end-to-end AI solutions, translates business needs into technical architectures and works with engineers and data scientists to move solutions from prototype to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design end-to-end AI solutions, including generative AI applications, LLM-powered workflows, intelligent agents, RAG solutions, virtual assistants and intelligent automation.
• Translate business requirements and use cases into technical architectures, selecting AI models, services, data sources, integrations and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with AI, software, data scientists and data engineers to move solutions from concept to production, and build and validate prototypes and proof-of-concepts.
• Contribute modular, reusable AI components, services, APIs and architectural patterns, and integrate solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, vector databases and cloud services.
• Help design agentic AI solutions, including tool integration, orchestration, memory, RAG and human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Evaluate AI technologies, frameworks, models and platforms, and recommend options based on performance, scalability, security and cost.
• Work with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Legal, Privacy and Quality teams, embedding responsible AI, security-by-design, privacy-by-design and compliance-by-design.
• Support monitoring, evaluation, observability and MLOps/LLMOps practices, and document architectures, technical decisions and implementation guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience; at least 3 years in software, solution, cloud, data/AI engineering or solution architecture.
• Hands-on experience designing or developing AI/ML or generative AI solutions.
• Fluent written and spoken English; able to work with multidisciplinary, globally distributed teams.
• Nice to have: experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, LangChain, LangGraph, semantic search, vector databases, Snowflake, Kubernetes, and industry experience in regulated sectors.

Required skills

• Practical understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector search and AI agents.
• At least one major cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
• APIs, microservices and cloud-native application design; programming, preferably Python.
• Version control, testing, CI/CD and DevOps practices.
