About the role

Mastercard is seeking a technically‑savvy Analyst to drive automation and analytics transformation within its Business Finance Center in Colombia. The role focuses on building the data tools and workflows that enable finance teams to generate insights independently.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and scale data‑driven tools, automation solutions, and workflows to improve FP&A processes and reporting efficiency.
• Support and accelerate the automation strategy for BFC Colombia, enhancing tools, processes and data accessibility.
• Lead end‑to‑end project delivery (scoping, design, execution, deployment) for automation and data initiatives.
• Act as project lead for technical initiatives, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring timely, high‑quality delivery.
• Build and maintain data models, pipelines, and reporting frameworks that enable self‑service analytics.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Bridge finance, business teams and developers, or directly develop solutions when needed.
• Drive adoption of tools through training and knowledge sharing.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardisation and automation across financial workflows.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and integrity across all solutions.

Required profile

• Strong experience in data transformation, automation and analytics tools.
• Hands‑on experience with the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem (Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI integration).
• Ability to design and implement end‑to‑end data solutions from ingestion to visualization.
• Deep understanding of data modelling, ETL processes and workflow automation.
• Proven track record building scalable solutions for finance functions.
