Analytics Engineer

About the role

Addi is building a modern financial platform in Colombia and needs an Analytics Engineer to own its marketing data platform. You will ensure data pipelines are reliable, automated with AI agents, and serve Marketing, Growth, and Marketplace teams.

Key responsibilities

• Map the end‑to‑end marketing data platform, document sources, jobs, tables and integrations with Braze, AppsFlyer, GTM and Marketplace.
• Add tests and alerts to critical pipelines to achieve 99% on‑time data delivery and halve data incidents.
• Develop and ship AI agents or agentic workflows that automate recurring marketing data tasks, reducing manual requests by at least 50%.
• Optimize pipeline cost or runtime by at least 30% through removal of unused tables and jobs.
• Maintain a single catalog of marketing data with owners and approval rules for governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience writing and debugging complex SQL at scale, including window functions, CTEs and incremental logic.
• Hands‑on experience building and operating ELT pipelines on modern data platforms using dbt, Airflow (or similar), Git and code reviews.
• Ability to automate workflows with Python and integrate APIs, plus daily use of coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.).
• Track record of creating documentation and runbooks that both people and AI agents can follow.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to translate ambiguous business needs into technical solutions.
