About the role
Blacksmith Agency is building an AI automation layer across its workflows. As an Applied AI Engineer you will own and ship internal automation projects, turning documented roadmaps into production systems.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement agentic workflows using LangChain, LangGraph or similar frameworks.
- Integrate Anthropic and OpenAI APIs, including tool use and function calling.
- Develop internal tools that reduce manual effort in design and development processes.
- Build automation pipelines connecting WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace and the internal CMS.
Required profile
- 2+ years of experience building production software with Python or Node.js.
- Hands‑on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen or comparable agent frameworks.
- Proven track record of API integration with OpenAI or Anthropic (function calling, tool use, streaming).
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks and basic cloud deployment.
