Apprentice – Administrative Services

About the role

This apprenticeship supports Baxter’s mission to improve health by preparing and standardizing laboratory reagents used in raw material release, in‑process and finished‑product testing, validation and stability studies. You will also assist with preventive maintenance and 6S programs while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute analytical tests, delivering accurate, data‑driven results.
• Prepare and standardize reagents with high precision and maintain calibrated equipment.
• Perform autonomous equipment maintenance to guarantee proper operation.
• Ensure daily work complies with current regulations, standards (BPL, GMP, ISO 14000, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14791) and corporate policies.
• Adhere to CFR 21 Part 11 requirements to protect data integrity.
• Support the preventive maintenance and 6S programs.

Required profile

• Student of Chemical or Industrial Technology.
• Immediate availability to start the apprenticeship.
• Not currently under a contract with the Colombian SENA program.

Required skills

• Reagent preparation and standardization.
• Equipment calibration and verification.
• Data analysis for laboratory results.
• Knowledge of BPL, GMP and ISO quality standards.
