Assistant Accounting Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager to act as the operational engine behind our Accounting Manager. This remote, full‑time position ensures accurate tracking, protection, allocation, and timely reporting of the company’s finances.

Key responsibilities

• Own revenue and cash accuracy: review and post daily bank transactions, perform full bank and credit‑card reconciliations, manage end‑to‑end accounts payable and resolve discrepancies.
• Support payroll with zero tolerance for errors, ensure proper allocation across properties/departments and maintain confidentiality.
• Build financial discipline by implementing and improving internal controls, identifying inefficiencies and fixing them.
• Elevate the accounting team through mentorship, solution‑focused support and raising standards.
• Meet all financial reporting deadlines, delivering reports ahead of schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (non‑negotiable).
• 3–5 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Fluent or advanced English.
• Organised, detail‑obsessed and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and a systems‑thinking mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
