Assistant Project Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

This on‑site position in Pereira supports a wide range of construction projects, delivering tasks to high‑quality standards and acting as the primary day‑to‑day contact with clients. The role helps define success criteria such as time, cost, technical performance and governance, and adapts to changing project needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver tasks to high quality standards across projects of varying size and complexity.
• Act as the day‑to‑day contact point with the client, managing information flow and regular meetings.
• Establish project success criteria, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters, and ensure appropriate governance and planning.
• Monitor and control project performance, applying performance management techniques and managing change control.
• Prepare status reports, process purchase orders, update tracking reports and maintain financial and due‑diligence files.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar project‑management role.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Proven ability to develop reports, follow‑up on projects and manage correspondence.
