Assistant Store Manager Outlet – Full Time

About the role

Columbia Sportswear Company is looking for an Assistant Store Manager for its outlet stores in San José de la Rinconada. As part of the Store Leadership Team, you will assist the Store Manager in running the store effectively, improving customer service, driving store sales and increasing profitability. The role is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to store staff, including supervisors and associates.
• Execute and support plans to improve employee productivity and performance.
• Assist the Store Manager with interviewing, hiring, training and coaching staff.
• Coach staff daily so performance standards are met.
• Maintain inventory levels through replenishment, organization, shrink control and communication.
• Help the Store Manager develop action plans for store sales, goals, safety, training and personnel development.

Required profile

• No specific education required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a position or specialization.
• Ability to judge and solve day-to-day technical and operational problems.
• Effective communication with the store leadership team, associates and customers.
• Physical stamina: moving around in an active environment and handling items up to 40 lbs, with occasional exposure to dust and noise.
• Flexible retail schedule, which may change seasonally.

Required skills

• Operating a Point of Sale (POS) system and other in-store computerized systems.
• Telephone operation.

Expected pay: €21,980 - €28,000 for full-time positions, depending on experience and skills.
