About the role
Kennedys is seeking an Associate to join its growing Corporate & Commercial team in Bogotá. The role involves providing specialist legal advice to insurers, reinsurers and corporate clients operating in the Colombian market, while contributing to a collaborative, innovation‑driven environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver advisory services on insurance coverage, regulatory compliance and commercial matters to local and international insurers and reinsurers.
- Assist claims handlers in managing and defending insurance claims.
- Provide regulatory and commercial guidance to corporate clients across various sectors.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Colombian insurance law and related corporate legislation.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial or corporate law.
- At least 1 year of experience advising insurance companies.
- Demonstrated client contact experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
