Associate Director, Embedded Consulting

About the role

Control Risks is looking for an Associate Director to lead its Embedded Consulting business across Latin America. The role will be based in Bogotá or Mexico City and will drive growth, manage client relationships and oversee delivery of operational security programs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery and growth of embedded security consulting services across Latin America, ensuring high program quality and client satisfaction.
• Manage a geographically dispersed workforce of security consultants, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Oversee contract performance, budgets, billing and financial results for the regional portfolio.
• Partner with regional teams to develop scalable processes, reporting standards and quality assurance mechanisms.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in operational security, security consulting or risk management, with 3+ years of people‑management experience.
• Proven ability to build and manage client relationships with corporate security, risk and business stakeholders.
• Experience managing security programs or contingent workforces across multinational environments.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.

• Leadership, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
• PMP or equivalent project‑management certification preferred.
