Associate - Finance (FP&A Analyst)

About the role

Elanco, a global animal health company, is looking for an Associate - Finance (Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst) in Colombia. The role supports the finance team by improving reporting, forecasting and commercial analysis processes, covering recurring sales, gross margin, operating expenses, P&L and innovation reports, as well as discount, rebate and gross-to-net (G2N) calculations. The position is hybrid (50% home, 50% office) with no travel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and analyse daily sales reporting, monthly gross margin reporting, recurring OPEX, P&L and order reports using advanced Excel and Power BI.
• Support G2N processes, including price list control, commercial terms tracking and the calculation and settlement of discounts and rebates.
• Build and maintain quarterly forecast templates for sales and OPEX, and quarterly G2N templates.
• Carry out variance analysis to explain business performance and financial results.
• Optimise, automate and document FP&A processes, and manage bi-monthly innovation reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Financial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in FP&A, commercial or business controlling or related finance roles.
• Intermediate English (B2).
• Preferred: knowledge of Python, experience in consumer goods FP&A or controlling, and experience documenting and improving finance processes.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI for financial reporting, data analysis and process automation.
• Preferred: Python.
