Associate Global Forwarding Agent

About the role

C.H. Robinson is seeking an Associate Global Forwarding Agent in Bogotá to support international logistics solutions. In this role you will coordinate shipments, manage documentation and ensure compliance, contributing to efficient global supply chains and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain operational excellence by understanding international shipping processes, documentation, and terminology from purchase order to cargo delivery.
• Execute and coordinate shipment tasks to meet customer SOP requirements, ensuring data integrity for shipment details, Incoterms, routing, dates, and documents.
• Prepare low to medium complexity customer quotes and learn pricing fundamentals.
• Communicate clearly with customers, C.H. Robinson offices, agents, and external vendors to promote positive relationships.
• Support adherence to customer SOPs and collaborate with internal departments and support teams.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Strong communication, prioritization, multitasking, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to a diverse, inclusive work environment.
