Associate, Program Operations - Acumen Academy

About the role

Acumen Academy is seeking an Enablement Associate with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to build and strengthen its regional programs and internal operations. The role blends cross-regional and cross-functional project management with technical and operational skills so that high-quality programs can run on the ground. It is ideally based in Bogota, Colombia, and involves close collaboration with colleagues across multiple time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure consistent, high-quality program delivery across regions, overseeing end-to-end regional program launches in coordination with teams across 8 regions and aligning on timelines and global guidelines.
• Maintain a shared calendar of regional schedules and activities, and own and build program operational processes on technical platforms such as SurveyMonkey Apply, Form Assembly and Salesforce.
• Onboard team members into program processes, identify areas for system improvement, and update resources so regional teams do not need to ask for them.
• Provide regular updates, facilitate knowledge sharing, plan kick-offs and after-action reviews, and document learnings.
• Work with the Data Systems Manager and the Impact team on Fellowship data and reporting, and implement changes to Fellowship selection and operational processes.
• Support internal operational requests, onboarding and offboarding of team members, and act as main contact for cross-team software tools, including managing users, invoices and renewals.
• Keep documentation of systems and workflows up to date and use AI to improve processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant operations or project management experience.
• Proven experience managing relationships and running programs across diverse teams and functions.
• Permanent work authorization in Colombia.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Preferred: experience in social impact, nonprofit or remote environments, and experience supporting multi-region or globally distributed teams.

Required skills

• Experience managing technical platforms such as SurveyMonkey Apply, Form Assembly, Airtable and Claude, with the curiosity to learn new tools and pilot AI automations.
• Hands-on experience with Airtable, SurveyMonkey Apply and Salesforce is a plus.
• Proven experience supporting the operational side of a leadership development program is preferred.
