Associate Transport Project Logistics Engineer

About the role

C.H. Robinson is seeking an Associate Transport Project Logistics Engineer to design safe and effective transport solutions for large‑scale freight moves. You will collaborate with internal Project Logistics teams, carriers, and customers from origin to final site, applying engineering principles and AutoCAD expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement transportation solutions, including method statements, route studies, and transport plans.
• Partner with pricing, solution design, operations, and other internal teams to create customer‑focused logistics solutions.
• Analyze carrier data, customer requirements, transport drawings, and multimodal options to develop risk assessments and optimized strategies.
• Serve as a liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal network teams to ensure clear communication and seamless execution.
• Support RFP and proposal efforts, coordinate global deal‑team communication, and assist with contract review.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, specification, and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2‑3 years of experience in engineering, project logistics, or the oil & gas industry.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
