Bilingual Credit Operations Analyst (Remote Bogota / Onsite Barranquilla)

About the role

Sutherland is looking for a bilingual Credit Analyst (B2) with experience in credit operations, loan origination, underwriting and credit risk to support a growing banking and credit client. The role combines credit process knowledge with B2B account support, operational issue resolution and ongoing client communication. Candidates based in Bogota work remotely; those in Barranquilla work onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients across credit operations, including loan origination, underwriting workflows, credit decisioning, credit risk processes and collections.
• Manage a portfolio of B2B client accounts, balancing priorities and following up on open issues.
• Investigate operational incidents, document findings and coordinate escalations with engineering and other internal teams.
• Track support tickets through resolution using Jira or similar tools and give clear progress updates.
• Support issues involving credit reporting agency integrations, APIs and system configurations.
• Review system logs and interpret basic technical information to help troubleshoot.
• Take part in regular meetings with client subject matter experts to review issues and align on priorities.
• Maintain accurate records and resolution reports, and communicate with clients in English while coordinating internally in Spanish.

Required profile

• At least two years of experience in credit operations, lending support or a related financial services role.
• Experience in loan origination, underwriting and credit risk, with a solid understanding of credit processes and decisioning workflows.
• Experience supporting B2B clients and managing multiple accounts or concurrent operational cases.
• Ability to investigate issues, manage escalations and follow through on resolution.
• English at B2 level or above, written and spoken, and fluency in Spanish.

Required skills

• Jira or similar ticketing platforms.
• Functional understanding of APIs and system integrations.
• Ability to read system logs and understand basic scripting or coding logic.
• Preferred: experience with credit reporting agency integrations and collections, Postman, VDI and system configuration logs, and direct work with engineering teams.
