Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Spanish/English) – Remote

About the role

Join a busy property management company as the first point of contact for tenants who need maintenance support. You will handle bilingual calls, organize maintenance requests, and ensure tenants receive professional assistance in both Spanish and English.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming tenant maintenance calls in both Spanish and English, managing high‑volume and occasionally frustrated callers.
• Gather tenant information and create accurate maintenance work orders, entering details such as property, issue description, and requested work.
• Route work orders to the appropriate property manager or maintenance contact and coordinate schedules with building maintenance staff.
• Follow up on open requests, provide end‑of‑day updates to managers, and ensure all information is properly recorded.
• Handle routine tenant questions and maintenance‑related issues while keeping requests moving toward resolution.

Required profile

• Fluent in both Spanish and English, with a significant portion of calls conducted in Spanish.
• Strong phone presence, able to control conversations, gather information efficiently, and remain composed with angry or frustrated tenants.
• Excellent multitasking skills, capable of managing overlapping calls, brief holds, and accurate data entry.
• Highly organized, ensuring work orders, scheduling, and follow‑ups are accurate and properly assigned.
• General work experience required; customer service experience preferred.
