Bilingual Intake Representative - Personal Injury

About the role

A law firm is looking for a full-time, remote Bilingual Intake Representative to be the face and voice of the firm. As the first point of contact for prospective and current clients, you will gather initial case details, verify insurance and make sure clients receive a seamless, empathetic experience while seeking legal representation.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls promptly, professionally and empathetically in a fast-paced environment.
• Conduct thorough intakes, gathering incident details, demographic data and insurance information.
• Perform initial insurance verification to confirm policy limits and coverage specifics.
• Schedule consultations and follow-up appointments, liaising directly with attorneys and case management staff.
• Guide clients through the intake process, answer questions clearly and deliver respectful service.
• Input and update client records, intake notes and files accurately in the firm's case management software.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• High school diploma; legal or healthcare administrative coursework is a plus.
• Experience in legal/medical intake, customer service or call centers is preferred.
• Bonus points for knowledge of insurance verification, patient registration or medical terminology.

Required skills

• Outstanding verbal and written communication with excellent phone etiquette.
• Fast typing with high data entry accuracy.
• Preferred: familiarity with insurance verification, patient registration and medical terminology related to injury claims.
