Bilingual Junior Network Engineer (Remote, Colombia)

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is hiring a Network Engineer for its Global CX Center, working remotely from Colombia. The role sits in a highly technical, globally connected team that delivers network solutions to major customers, collaborating across international teams and applying Cisco technologies to solve complex network challenges and automate processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Cisco technologies in large-scale, complex network environments, supporting global Customer Experience teams.
• Analyze, monitor and optimize network performance, and identify opportunities to automate repeatable tasks and streamline manual processes.
• Develop and influence software tools and scripts for network design, infrastructure management and technology platforms.
• Act as a technical partner to customers, proactively solving and preventing network incidents and troubleshooting complex problems.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams, guide them technically, support field engineers and help build new service capabilities.

Required profile

• 1-2+ years of experience in network engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Exposure to Cisco technologies and a strong desire to grow in a global, customer-facing environment.
• Foundational knowledge of network design, infrastructure and technology platforms.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot network issues in complex environments.
• Experience or strong interest in network automation, including scripting or tooling.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to share knowledge and give technical training.
