Bilingual Staff Accountant (English/Spanish) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Staff Accountant to manage end‑to‑end accounting for 3‑4 client portfolios. This fully remote position offers autonomy over the complete accounting cycle, from daily bookkeeping to month‑end close, while serving both English‑ and Spanish‑speaking clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full‑cycle accounting for each assigned client, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
• Execute daily bookkeeping, bank and credit‑card reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and month‑end/year‑end close.
• Prepare monthly financial statement packages (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) and conduct variance analysis.
• Serve as the primary accounting point of contact, set close calendars, self‑review workpapers, and flag issues.
• Navigate multiple accounting platforms (QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Bill.com, Sage, Xero) and maintain audit‑ready records.

Required profile

• Fluent written and verbal communication in both English and Spanish.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and ability to work independently.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
