Business Analyst II – Billing Automation

About the role

Mastercard’s Billing Operations team is looking for a Business Analyst II to help automate manual billing processes. You will work with data preparation and workflow tools to turn raw inputs into billing‑ready outputs, supporting a fast‑moving payments environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in building, updating, and running automated workflows that transform input data into billing‑ready outputs.
• Support data preparation tasks such as filtering, aggregating, joining datasets, renaming fields, and validating results against templates.
• Troubleshoot basic workflow issues (e.g., missing fields, format mismatches, input/output errors) with guidance from senior team members.
• Prepare data files, execute approved workflows, and validate results for manual billing cycles.
• Document workflow logic, inputs, outputs, and manual steps using standard templates and SOPs.
• Perform data checks and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of billing data.
• Follow established controls and documentation standards to support auditability.
• Collaborate with billing analysts, automation SMEs, and business partners to understand data requirements and billing logic.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to perform complex issue resolution.
• Foundational experience or coursework in data analysis, automation, or ETL.
