Business Analyst

About the role

The Business Analyst will drive business transformation for CRISIL Limited in Colombia by applying analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify improvement opportunities and develop effective solutions. The role requires close collaboration with business leaders, product owners and technical teams to shape requirements, design enhancements and deliver measurable process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and uncover improvement opportunities.
• Elicit, analyze and document business requirements using use cases and requirements management techniques.
• Design and develop solutions, including process improvements, system enhancements and data‑analytics initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, product owners and technical teams.
• Support project teams with planning, tracking and reporting activities.
• Analyze data to identify trends, insights and actionable opportunities.
• Communicate business needs, proposed solutions and results to all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field.
• Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or Certified Associate in Business Analysis (CABA).
• 2‑5 years of experience in business analysis or a related discipline, preferably within financial services.
• Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities.
