Business Assistant

About the role

GenesisFX Markets, a trading ecosystem focused on Forex, Commodities and Indices, is hiring a full-time Business Assistant in Medellín. The role is hybrid, combining onsite work with some work-from-home flexibility, and supports day-to-day business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage administrative tasks, maintain records, coordinate calendars and prepare reports and presentations.
• Handle client-facing communications, assist with customer service inquiries and follow up with internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze operational data, support business projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Communications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven administrative assistance experience, including calendar management, documentation and task prioritization.
• Prior experience in financial services, trading or a technology-driven company is an advantage.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and collaborating onsite in Medellín and remotely.

Required skills

• Strong analytical skills, able to interpret data and identify trends.
• Basic knowledge of trading, financial markets or fintech operations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with office productivity tools such as spreadsheets, presentations and CRM or ticketing systems.
